Questions we get from buyers before they book
Can replay run on a single-camera setup?
Single-camera replay is possible but limited. The power of replay comes from multi-angle selection. Minimum recommended for broadcast-grade replay is 3 cameras feeding the replay server; 6+ for esports and premium sports production.
How fast can a replay get to air?
Seconds. The replay server pre-records continuously. The operator selects the moment and angle, the director calls the cut, and the replay is on air. For complex multi-angle sequences, 10-20 seconds; for simple single-angle slow-motion, 3-5 seconds.
What about IP-based replay (Dreamcatcher) vs SDI (EVS)?
Both available. Dreamcatcher suits IP-workflow venues with 10GbE or SMPTE 2110 backbones. EVS XT-VIA remains the workhorse for SDI-native productions. CBA uses whichever fits the venue backbone without asking the client to adapt.
Can tagged highlights be exported during the event?
Yes. Live tagging marks highlights on the server. Exports happen in parallel to the live broadcast so your social team has clips within minutes of the moment happening. Standard for competitive events where audience growth depends on same-day clip distribution.
Do you do replay-only engagements?
Yes. CBA can provide replay service as a standalone to complement an existing production. Kit arrives, operator arrives, integrates with your vision mixer, delivers replay through the event. Booking is per-day plus kit.
